Open Cities is developing a 5-step process to deliver Next-Gen utility and mobility solutions in communities. This membership collaboration will assist councils commit to, procure and build more sustainable and affordable infrastructure enabling families and businesses to generate their own energy, recycle water and waste, and share their mobility and data.
GIVING PEOPLE A STAKE IN
Open Cities has called for new State policy and targets to ensure all new homes and commercial buildings are built with smart solutions for energy, mobility, waste and water. To meet the needs of businesses and households over the next decade, governments must work with industry on a vision to transition to the future, including new planning regulations enabling 21st century infrastructure and services to be installed in all growth areas.
